Lt. General Cirilito Sobejana, chief of the Western Mindanao Command, visited wounded soldiers at the 6th Infantry Division in Maguindanao on Saturday.

“We should take care of our soldiers, because those left behind can have no peace after suffering distress,” said Sobejana.

Representing President Rodrigo Duterte, Sobejana, handed over cash assistance, gun certificates, and cell phones to 18 soldiers who were wounded in the recent encounter in Maguindanao against the bandit BIFF.

Also attending were the Kampilan troopers led by Major General Diosdado Carreon and the Presidential Management Staff. DMS
