The Philippines sent a notice it is terminating the Visiting Forces Agreement to the United States,

”The Deputy Chief of Mission of the Embassy of the United States has received the notice of termination of the Visiting Forces Agreement,” said Foreign Secretary Teodoro Locsin Jr in his Twitter account Tuesday.

”As a diplomatic courtesy, there will be no further factual announcements following this self-explanatory development,” added Locsin.

Locsin signed the notice of termination on the order of President Rodrigo Duterte thru Executive Secretary Salvador Medialdea. DMS
