The Department of Health (DOH) reported Thursday that daily coronavirus disease ( COVID-19) cases came in at 2,415, which brought total cases to 314, 079.

Active cases were 54. 294, added the DOH. Mild cases accounted for 86.6 percent, followed by asymptomatic 9 percent, critical 3.1 percent and severe 1.4 percent.

There were 59 persons who died from COVID-19, which raised total fatalities to 5,562. Majority of the new deaths came from NCR with 26.

The DOH said 771 persons survived COVID-19, which placed total recoveries at 254, 223. DMS
