2,093 new COVID-19 cases, 20 labs fail to submit data

The Department of Health (DOH) on Tuesday reported 2,093 new coronavirus disease (COVID-19) cases even as 20 laboratories were not able to submit data to the COVID-19 Data Repository System on Monday.

Total cases are now at 326,833 of which 47, 655 are active. The DOH said 85.6 percent of the active cases were mild, 9.5 percent asymptomatic, 3.4 percent critical and 1.6 percent severe.

Twenty-five persons died from COVID-19, which raised total fatalities to 5,865.

There were 209 persons who overcame COVID-19, bringing total recoveries to 273, 313. DMS
