Año says DILG received around 60,000 complaints on aid distribution
Interior Secretary Eduardo Año on Monday night said the Department of Interior and |Local Government (DILG) received around 60,000 complaints from the people in relation to aid distribution.
In his report to President Rodrigo Duterte, Año said they received a total of 59, 669 complaints.
“We already resolved a total of 24,421; 39,781 were under deliberation and the remaining (complaints) were endorsed on different agencies,” he said.
Año said all complaints must be resolved and answered before May 15.
As to the distribution, Año said out of the P22.9 billion budget, they distributed P17 billion aid to 17,037,122 beneficiaries or a total of 74.35 percent.
He said in Metro Manila, a total of 8,632,336 beneficiaries out of the 11,172,988 have received their aid, 2,168,243 beneficiaries in Bulacan; 2,188,380 in Cavite; 2,307,825 in Laguna and 2,612,824 in Rizal.
