Through the COVAX Facility, nearly 2.3 million doses of Pfizer BioNTech vaccine against COVID-19 arrived Thursday night at the Ninoy Aquino International Airport, the National Task Force Against COVID-19 said.
The 2,297,160 doses of Pfizer BioNTech is the biggest bulk of vaccines to arrive in the Philippines.
Davao, which facing a surge of COVID-19 cases, and Cebu will receive 210, 600 doses each of PfizerBioNTech.
The rest will go to Metro Manila, an advisory of the National Task Force Against COVID-19 said.
Earlier Thursday, one million Sinovac vaccines brought from China arrived.
On Friday, 100,000 doses of Sputnik V will arrive at 11pm. DMS
