Temporary suspension of operations of the DFA consular office at SM Megamall from August 31 to September 3
The Department of Foreign Affairs advises the public that the operations of DFA Consular Office (CO) NCR East branch, located at SM Megamall, are temporarily suspended from 31 August to 03 September 2021. All scheduled passport appointments during this period will be rescheduled soonest.
CO NCR East personnel have been identified as close contacts of a Covid-19 positive individual and as such will observe the required self-quarantine guidelines imposed by the Inter-Agency Task Force (IATF) for Emerging Infectious Diseases.
Thus, CO NCR East will be temporarily closed from 31 August until 03 September 2021.
Affected applicants will receive an email providing them with an alternative passport appointment schedule.
The Department requests the public’s understanding as it continues to adhere to prescribed measures to prevent the spread of the COVID-19 pandemic. OPCD – Media and Public Affairs Division
