Philippine Embassy in Seoul conducts online information session on overseas voting in the Republic of Korea

In preparation for the Philippine National Elections 2022, Philippine Ambassador to South Korea Theresa Dizon-De Vega led an online information session on the conduct of Overseas Voting at the Philippine Embassy in Seoul on  April 2.

Ambassador De Vega provided an overview of Overseas Voting in the Republic of Korea. Part of her presentation was on the Certified List of Overseas Voters (CLOV) in Korea, procedures in voting at the Philippine Embassy, important reminders from COMELEC, prohibited acts during election season, and important dates and contact information to remember.

She also reaffirmed the political neutrality of the officials, staff, and attached agencies of the Philippine Embassy in the Republic of Korea for a clean, safe, peaceful, transparent, fair, and secure national elections.

Consul General Romulo Israel, Jr also informed about the coming field and mobile voting scheduled in Busan and Daegu for the month of April.

The session was then followed by an interactive question-and-answer segment. At the end of the session, De Vega requested the assistance of Filipino community organizations in disseminating significant information on Philippine overseas voting in the Republic of Korea.
