PDEA raids two shabu labs in Ayala Alabang

Authorities arrested three suspects, including one Frenchman and Canadian in two separate drug raids in Ayala Alabang in Muntinlupa City Friday.

Seized were around 22 kilos of suspected shabu worth P136 million in the first raid and two kilos of the prohibited substance valued at P13.6 million in the second. The total amount reached P149.6 million.

Arrested in the first raid were Frenchman Aurelien Cythere, 41, and Mark Anthony Sarayot, 42.

The Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency (PDEA) and the Philippine National Police (PNP) personnel served the search warrant at the “medium scale suspected shabu laboratory” inside a house at No. 304 Mabolo Street, Ayala Alabang Village.

The second target at 523 Madrigal Avenue Ayala Alabang yielded two kilograms of suspected shabu worth ₱13,600,000 and various laboratory equipment, identification cards, and 5 mobile phones.

The operating team arrested Ariana Golesorkhi, alias ‘Kano’, a 33-year-old male Canadian who was born in Iran.

“These suspects are linked to Mexican, Australian and Canadian drug trafficking groups. We are currently investigating these links and several other drug personalities,” said Assistant Secretary Gregorio Pimentel, PDEA officer-in-charge who personally led the operation.

The arrested drug suspects will be facing charges for violation of Sections 8, 11, and 12 of Article II, Republic Act 9165 or the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002. Robina Asido/DMS
