The Philippine Stock Exchange index (PSEi) went down 55 points to end at 6,523.15 on Monday.
Volume reached 1.65 billion shares worth P4.13 billion from Friday’s 610.93 million valued at P5.51 billion.
In the broader market, there were 106 declines, 86 advances and 42 unchanged.
Most active shares were led by Bloomberry Resorts, down 12 centavos to P11.06; Ayala Corp., down P17.50 to P656; SM Prime Holdings, down 60 centavos to P33 and BDO Unibank, up 30 centavos to P135.80.
The peso settled at P56.07 against the dollar from P55.79 on Friday.
Volume at the foreign exchange portal of the Bankers Association of the Philippines amounted to $1.279 billion from $1.488 on Friday. DMS
