The Philippine Stock Exchange index (PSEi) ended 43.42 points to end at 6,468.07 on Friday.
Volume reached 784 million shares worth P4.73 billion from Thursday’s P1.07 billion shares valued at P6.79 billion.
In the broader market, there were 95 declines, 83 advances and 42 unchanged.
Most active shares were led by SM Prime Holdings, down 95 centavos to P32.85; Ayala Land, down 80 centavos to P24.30; SM Investments Corp., up P9 to P925 and BDO, down P1.20 to P137.70.
The peso settled at P55.2 against the US dollar from P55.3 on Thursday.
Volume at the foreign exchange portal of the Bankers Association of the Philippines reached $1.05 billion from $905.1 million. DMS
