Early morning heavy rains which resulted in flooding in some parts of Metro Manila were caused by the southwest monsoon enhanced by Super Typhoon “Goring”.

The Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration(Pagasa) raised a yellow warning alert over Metro Manila, Zambales and Bataan from 8 am to 11am.
